How to use Serpworx
Serpworx requires you to download its Chrome extension first before you proceed.
Click here to get your copy. Make sure that you’re using Google Chrome to download the extension. The Mozilla Firefox add-on is in development and will come out soon.
Once you’ve installed it, click on the extension to sign up for your 5-day free trial.
During the trial, you can only use a limited amount of credits to run the data across pages on SERPs. However, that should be enough to help you make an informed decision about the tool.
Once you’ve signed up, you need to set up your account from the following tabs:
- General – Tweak the settings here to show or hide Search Metrics, Page Metrics, and more
- Ahrefs – Connect your Ahrefs account here to extract information from arguably the best SEO tool in the planet alongside others
- Credit info – See how many credits are left for you to use today and the time when your credits will replenish
- Exclusions – See which URLs that you don’t want Serpworx to analyze for you
- Info – Find Serpworx’s FAQ page here, access your personal account, and open a support ticket

Once you have saved the settings, it’s time to test-drive the tool.
Go to Google and enter your search query.
Once you’re on the search results, click on the Serpworx and make sure that it’s turned on.
If the power button is red, you need to click on it to make it green and turn the extension on.

Let’s break down the metrics you see from the pages on search results:
- Majestic – Shows the Flow Metrics and Trust Ratio as well as its Topic Trust Flow
- Moz – Ideally shows the Page and Domain Authorities and additional information about its link profile such as Spam Score, Followed, etc.
- SEMRush – Reveals how many keywords the page is ranking for and the total number of monthly visitors it’s getting
- On-page metrics – Tells you how many heading tags the page is using, its number of words, and the density of the search phrase you entered on Google
- URL metrics – Shows the domain age, social shares of the page, and more.
If you click any of the metrics above – the total number of keywords it’s ranking for – you will see something like this:
You can toggle the data on the left side to show the metrics you want to know more information about.
For instance, where’s what it shows when you click on the Moz tab:
The data here should provide you with enough data to analyze the page or domain depending on your purpose.
Aside from SERPs, you can only use Serpworx to view SEO information of the pages you visit.
As long as the Chrome extension is turned on, you will see a widget on the left side of the screen showing you SEO data about the page:

Serpworx has these metrics available for you in a single place to streamline all your competitor analysis work
CON: No way to extract SEO metrics from SERPs
If you want to know the SEO metrics from each page on SERPs, you have to analyze them one by one. There’s no way for you to download all the information in a handy .csv file so you can crunch the numbers on your own
PRO: Very affordable
Competitor analysis can get very expensive if you want all the best SEO data about the site available to you. However, Serpworx lowered the barrier of entry by providing users with everything they need to know about the site.
